Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced RF Design professional for an onsite Tucson-based role. You will develop transmitters, receivers, and exciters, design CCAs with RF/mixed signals, and work in a lab to characterize components and verify modules.

You will also handle RF hardware testing, perform schematic capture and RF routing, and partner with power, digital, and mechanical teams to deliver integrated solutions for advanced radar and datalink programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required with extensive relevant experience.
• Experience in RF design, RF testing, and RF product simulation.
• Proficiency with Mentor DX Designer, HFSS, SystemVue/Genesys or ADS.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of transmitters, receivers or exciters.
• Design of circuit card assemblies (CCAs) with RF or mixed signals.
• Lab work for component characterization and module verification.
• Test and handling of sensitive RF hardware.
• Schematic capture and RF routing.
• Collaborate with power, digital, mechanical and other teams.
