Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced RF design engineer for an onsite Tucson, AZ role in the Effector RF Design Department. You will design transmitters, receivers, and exciters, create CCAs with RF or mixed signals, and verify modules in a lab environment.

Responsibilities include schematic capture, RF routing, and collaboration with power, digital, and mechanical teams to meet mission requirements. A DoD Secret clearance is required or the ability to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience including RF design, RF test, and RF simulation.
• Experience with RF design tools and measurement techniques for high-frequency hardware.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of transmitters, receivers or exciters.
• Design of circuit card assemblies (CCAs) with RF or mixed signals.
• Work in a lab to characterize components and verify modules.
• Test and handle sensitive RF hardware.
• Schematic capture and RF routing.
• Partner with interdisciplinary teams.
