Job summary

Messer Americas seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead capital projects from initiation through execution, ensuring safety, compliance, and on-budget delivery. You will guide multi-discipline teams, interface with stakeholders, and drive PDES and vendor negotiations for complex facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years working in the Industrial Gases industry.
• Minimum 15 years in Project Execution.

Responsibilities

• Oversee proposal development and project execution of major capital projects.
• Manage day-to-day activities of 2 to 3 project managers and larger, complex projects.
• Qualify vendors and negotiate pricing with Supply Management.
• Interface with BD/GBU/Prod Mgmt/Ops stakeholders to determine project scope.
• Deliver a safe, high-quality project on schedule and within budget, with complete documentation.
