Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Elkridge, MD seeks a Sr Principal Production Operations to lead day-to-day interfaces across PMO, Manufacturing, Test, SCM, Engineering and Shipping on-site.

You will drive cost and schedule performance, facilitate design and production reviews, report EVMS and CAM metrics, and guide product teams through lifecycle stages while maintaining strong communication with management at all levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in a related field with years of PM/Manufacturing experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cost, schedule, and projects across multiple disciplines.
• Experience liaising between engineering, manufacturing, and program management to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day interfaces across PMO, Manufacturing, Test, MRP, MA, SCM, Engineering and Shipping.
• Achieving targeted cost and schedule requirements.
• Facilitating internal meetings to support design, production and problem resolutions.
• Reporting EVMS and serving as the CAM for manufacturing projects.
• Leading or participating on a product team responsible for requirements, engineering, manufacturing, tracking and visibility.
• Representing manufacturing at the program Risk Review Board and managing manufacturing risks/opportunities.
• Supporting and generating proposal documentation as needed.
