Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Baltimore, MD seeks a Principal Production Operations to lead day-to-day interfaces among the PMO, Manufacturing, Test, MRP, MA, SCM, Engineering and Shipping, driving cost and schedule performance in a fast-paced defense environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (Master preferred) with 5+ years of PM/Manufacturing experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and an active SAP security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree minimum with 5+ years PM/Manufacturing experience; Master's with 3+ years
• Experience with cost, schedule, project leadership, and process improvement
• Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance
• U.S. Citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Managing interfaces between PMO, Manufacturing, Test, MRP, MA, SCM, Engineering, and Shipping
• Achieving targeted cost and schedule requirements
• Facilitating internal meetings for design, production, and problem resolutions
• Reporting EVMS and CAM for manufacturing projects
• Leading or participating on product teams for requirements analysis and manufacturing
• Representing manufacturing at program Risk Review Board and managing risks/opportunities
• Supporting proposal documentation as needed
