Chick-fil-A, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Principal Team Leader in Restaurant & Operator Communications (ROC) to lead a team that develops and aligns communications strategies for major initiatives.

You will oversee crisis and executive communications, guide AI-enabled capabilities, and ensure timely, effective messaging across functions. The role requires navigating complex business challenges, thinking system-wide, and fostering collaboration with operators, staff, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise-wide change communications and transformation initiatives.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing communications teams.
• Experience serving as a strategic communications advisor to executives and senior leadership teams.
• Experience leading agency/vendor resources and budgets.
• Experience using audience insights and engagement analytics to shape strategy and improve outcomes.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Track record as a communicator who thrives on managing a variety of initiatives concurrently, and on deadline.
• Self-starter able to work independently or in a group, adapt to shifting priorities, and who enjoys creating and implementing systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• People leadership: supervise staff and contractors with responsibility for results.
• Communications consulting: build strategic plans for complex initiatives.
• Strategic alignment: ensure messaging aligns with enterprise strategies.
• Executive communications: advise executives on leadership messaging.
• Communications capabilities expansion: explore AI and other trends to reach audiences.
• Crisis Communications leadership: participate in crisis planning and weather/disaster communications.
• Change communications: assess audience impact and channel strategy.
• Cross-functional team representation: provide leadership around key strategies.
• Project oversight: manage major deadlines, budgets, and vendors.
• Relationships: maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the organization.
• Audience: tailor communications to Operator and Restaurant needs.
