Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical or equivalent STEM) with 8+ years of mechanical engineering experience; MS with 6 years; 4 years with PhD.
• On-site work at Annapolis, MD campus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple projects.
• Proficiency with common engineering design, production, analysis, and office tools.
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis tools, bolted joint analysis, and structural hand calculations.
• Experience using 3D CAD software to create and review models.
• US citizen with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI and pass a polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into system solutions considering technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Perform concept development, problem solving, and technical planning for hardware integration and testing.
