Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks an experienced engineer for on-site work at the Annapolis, MD campus. The role involves translating customer requirements into robust system solutions, with emphasis on naval and underwater platforms, design integration, and cross-functional teamwork.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in mechanical engineering, CAD, FEA, and structural analysis, and must be a US citizen able to obtain the necessary clearances.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering and minimum 12 years experience; or MS degree with 10 years experience; or PhD with 8 years experience.
• Ability to work on-site at Annapolis, MD campus.
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis tools, bolted joint analysis, and structural hand calculations.
• Experience using 3D CAD software to create and review models.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into system solutions considering technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Work on underwater/naval systems programs and hardware integration.
