Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• Minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience in mechanical design for military, aerospace, or commercial applications.
• Experience with phased array structures, hardware packaging, and/or array integration in a collaborative environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required; active DoD Secret clearance after day 1.

Responsibilities

• Develop sound technical solutions to complex problems across the product life cycle.
• Support programs from early development through transition to production.
• Lead mechanical development of radar systems and components meeting system-level performance requirements.
• Ensure products and processes meet applicable standards and requirements.
• Balance risks and constraints while advising leadership.
• Make and remain accountable for technical decisions.
• Maintain frequent technical contact with customers and senior personnel regarding requirements, commitments, IRAD, and future technical needs.
• Ensure cost, schedule, quality, and performance requirements for finished products.
• Work with minimal direction while determining technical objectives.
• Communicate effectively across program and customer levels.
• Travel periodically to support collaboration, hardware build, and testing.
