Job summary
Raytheon is looking for an experienced Senior Design Engineer specializing in advanced 3D modeling to support radar development programs. Based in Marlborough, MA, the role requires expertise in CAD tools, particularly CREO, and the ability to lead design and integration efforts for mechanical hardware.
The chosen candidate will collaborate with engineering teams, oversee design reviews, and ensure compliance with technical data packages. This position offers competitive compensation with a salary range from $86,800 to $165,200 USD based on experience and other factors.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in engineering or an advanced degree with 3 years’ experience.
- Experience with CAD tools, especially CREO.
- Experience with GD&T, tolerance analysis, and ASME Y-14.5.
Responsibilities
- Design and document mechanical assemblies using CREO.
- Communicate design compliance with TDP requirements.
- Support the analysis and evaluation of mechanical designs.
- Manage assembly and BOM documentation.
