Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced leader to guide the mechanical design and development of missile components. You will provide technical direction, mentor team members, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure producibility and program success.

The role requires a strong background in GD&T, aluminum casting, and machining, with willingness to travel up to 75% to supplier sites and production facilities.

Qualifications

• Requires a STEM degree and 10+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 7+ years of leadership experience.
• Experience with aluminum casting and machining, supplier and military production programs, FAI and GD&T proficiency.
• Willingness to travel domestically to suppliers up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and development of missile components and assemblies.
• Provide technical direction and mentoring while meeting program schedule and cost objectives.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and factories to improve producibility.
• Support reviews, integration, testing, and inspections; maintain technical data packages.
