Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Senior level requires a minimum of 6 years of mechanical systems design experience.
• Principal level requires a minimum of 10 years of mechanical systems design experience.
• Experience in power generation, nuclear power, or government (DOE) projects is required.
• Good writing, presentation, and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to contribute as an individual and work well in teams.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality engineering documents, drawings, calculations, and analyses meeting codes and client needs.
• Develop engineering documents in alignment with client and regulatory requirements.
• Stay current with industry codes, standards, and nuclear design techniques.
• Produce deliverables that meet QA standards and exceed client expectations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure integrated, comprehensive designs.
• Travel to plant sites to perform on-site walkdowns and evaluate structures and components.
