Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 6+ years in design of mechanical systems for power generation, nuclear, or DOE projects.
• Experience collaborating in multi-disciplinary teams and delivering high-quality documents.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% to plant sites.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate drawings, sketches, calculations, and analyses that meet codes, standards, and client needs.
• Develop engineering documents in alignment with client, ENERCON, and regulatory requirements while following procedures.
• Keep knowledge up-to-date with industry codes, safety culture, and advanced design techniques for nuclear projects.
• Produce deliverables that comply with QA standards and project scope.
• Build trust with clients through clear communication and professional conduct.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure integrated, complete designs.
• Travel to plant sites to inspect structures, systems, and components as needed.
