Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Nuclear Design Group in the United States.

You’ll contribute to plant modifications and design initiatives, collaborating with multi-discipline teams on cooling water systems, pumps, motors, piping, and heat exchangers for existing or new power plants. This role requires a Bachelor's in mechanical engineering, 6–10+ years of relevant experience, and US citizenship due to federal contracts.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Senior level requires 6+ years in mechanical design.
• Principal level requires 10+ years in mechanical design.
• Experience in power generation, nuclear power, or government DOE projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work as an individual contributor or in teams.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel.
• US Citizenship required due to federal contracts.
• Approx travel ~10%.

Mansioni

• Prepare engineering drawings, sketches, calculations, and analyses meeting codes and client needs.
• Develop documents aligned with client, ENERCON, and regulatory requirements.
• Stay current with industry codes, standards, and nuclear design techniques.
• Produce engineering deliverables meeting QA standards.
• Build client relationships through clear communication and professional interaction.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure integrated designs.
• Travel to plant sites for on-site walkdowns and assessments.
