Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 6+ years design experience for Senior roles; 10+ for Principal.
• Experience with power generation, nuclear or DOE projects.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Able to work independently and in teams.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Approximately 10% travel.

Responsibilities

• Support projects from major plant modifications to design initiatives.
• Prepare drawings, calculations, and analyses meeting codes and client needs.
• Adhere to client, Enercon, and regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated with industry codes, standards, safety culture, and nuclear design.
• Produce deliverables that meet QA standards and project scopes.
• Build relationships with clients through clear communication.
• Travel to plant sites to perform on-site assessments.
