Job summary

ENERCON is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Nuclear Design Group in a senior or principal role. You will lead mechanical design efforts for power generation projects and may mentor others. Roles include travel to plant sites and collaboration across disciplines.

Applicants should have a mechanical engineering degree, extensive design experience in nuclear or DOE projects, and strong communication and writing skills. Travel is approximately 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Senior Level: Minimum 6 years of experience with design of mechanical systems.
• Principal: Minimum 10 years of experience with design of mechanical systems.
• Must have experience in power generation, nuclear power or government (DOE) projects directly or with an engineering/design consulting firm.
• Good writing, presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
