Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Engineer for the Strategic Deterrent Systems Division. This role is based in Roy, UT and involves advancing cruise-missile subsystem architectures and MBSE artifacts, with heavy emphasis on system requirements, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration.

The candidate should have a STEM degree with extensive DoD program experience, DoD Secret clearance, and MBSE tool proficiency (DOORS, CAMEO, Jira/Confluence).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university.
• Active DoD Secret clearance (within last 6 years).
• Ability to obtain SAP approval within reasonable period.

Responsibilities

• Decompose and allocate system requirements to detailed specs with end-to-end traceability.
• Develop architectures, use cases, and concepts of operations for cruise-missile subsystems (MBSE artifacts).
• Lead hardware-in-the-loop and flight test integration, verifying software/hardware components.
• Create maturation roadmaps and integration plans for TMRR phase.
• Identify and mitigate program risks; produce risk-management plans.
