Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to support Modeling, Simulations, and Analysis (MS&A) in Roy, UT. The role focuses on MBSE content, V&V artifacts, and governance, with mentoring responsibilities for a diverse team.

The successful candidate must have a STEM degree with experience in MBSE, MS&A, and V&V, plus a DoD Secret clearance. The position offers a 9/80 schedule and relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in STEM with 5+ years of experience; 3 years with Master’s; 1 year with PhD.
• Must be a US citizen with active DoD Secret clearance; investigation within last 6 years.
• Ability to obtain SAP approval within a reasonable period per business need.
• Demonstrated MS&A expertise including V&V and MBSE content development.
• Proficiency in MBSE tools such as Cameo, DOORS, CPLM, PLM or similar.

Responsibilities

• Develop MBSE content and update documentation standards.
• Review V&V artifacts from external IPTs and mentor engineers.
• Coordinate between teams to support artifacts from creation to DoD acceptance.
• Coach others in MBSE processes and governance.
