The role emphasizes MBSE modeling, system requirements development, and interface documentation for Navy/DoD standards. You will lead cross-functional reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to verification planning, meeting CMMI and MISRA/NQA‑1 practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Software, or related STEM field with 8+ years of experience.
• U.S. citizen with active Top Secret clearance within the last six years.
• 3+ years of MBSE using SysML-based tools (Rhapsody, Cameo, SysMLv2).
• 3+ years writing, managing, and tracing complex requirements and ICDs.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to present to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve system architecture using MBSE tools.
• Develop requirements across the hierarchy and verification methods.
• Create ICDs and interface definitions for internal/external systems.
• Prepare technical reports, trade studies, and compliance matrices.
• Participate in lab demos and hardware-in-the-loop testing for validation.
• Lead cross-functional reviews and ensure compliance with processes.
