Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Roy, Utah seeks a Senior Program Manager 3 to lead hypersonic capabilities projects within the Flight Systems Futures unit. The role requires directing all phases of the program, managing cost, schedule and technical performance, and coordinating with customers and cross-functional teams.

The candidate should have DoD Top Secret clearance, a relevant degree with years of program leadership experience, and EVMS expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related experience, OR a Master’s degree and 6 years of related experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
• At least 6 years leading a program or project and driving performance against a schedule.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EV) in applicable systems.

Responsibilities

• Directing all phases of the program from inception through completion.
• Managing cost, schedule and technical performance of tooling programs.
• Serving as customer contact for program activities and leading reviews.
• Establishing milestones and monitoring master plans and schedules.
• Directing work of employees across technical, manufacturing and admin areas.
• Collaborating across teams to ensure on-time execution.
• Identifying, assessing and mitigating risks and maintaining risk register.
• Strategically managing budgets with financial rigor and predictability.
