Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Principal Manufacturing Process Engineer 4 to support Final Assembly at the Linthicum, MD facility. The candidate will drive process development, tooling design, and equipment qualification in a fast-paced, high-visibility manufacturing environment.

Required are a STEM degree and 8+ years of manufacturing/process engineering experience (or a Master’s with 6+ years), plus proficiency in 3D CAD and MS Office, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related STEM and 8+ years of experience, or Master's with 6+ years.
• Must be proficient with MS Office.
• 3D solid modeling experience using CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain manufacturing processes with focus on production capabilities and affordability.
• Provide ROI justification for process improvements.
• Create/manage project plans for process development activities.
• Document designs for custom tooling and procure new equipment for production readiness.
• Develop and optimize process parameters and documentation.
• Monitor yields and costs; implement quality improvements.
• Assist with training and support operations and design producibility reviews.
