Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to develop and optimize production processes for final assembly in Linthicum, MD. The role emphasizes process development, tooling design, and factory support in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years in manufacturing/process engineering (or 3+ with a Master's), strong CAD skills, MS Office fluency, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related STEM with 5+ years in Manufacturing/Process Engineering or a Master's with 3+ years.
Must be fluent with MS Office applications.
3D CAD modeling experience.
Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Developing new and maintaining or improving existing manufacturing processes with focus on production capabilities and affordability.
Providing ROI justification for process improvements.
Creating and managing project plans for process development activities.
Designing and documenting tooling and procuring new manufacturing equipment for production readiness.
Monitoring process yields and cost; implementing quality improvements.
Assisting with training and supporting factory maintenance.
Recommending product design improvements for manufacturability and documenting capabilities.
