Job summary

RTX is seeking a highly experienced Materials Lead for our Tucson, AZ site. The role is onsite with required active U.S. government security clearance.

You will guide material development, characterization, and integration across Raytheon product lines, collaborating with internal teams and external partners. Ideal candidates bring extensive experience in Low Observable materials, RF properties, and proficiency with CAD, Python, and MATLAB.

Qualifications

• STEM degree with 10+ years experience or advanced degree with 7+ years
• Experience in Low Observables or Radar materials
• Experience in material characterization, testing, design integration to air vehicles

Responsibilities

• Material and process development and integration support
• Material performance measurements and RF attenuation tests
• Use Computational Electromagnetic Codes (CEM) to predict material performance
• Work in Integrated Product Teams on signature control for deliverable products
• Material formulation and development; fabrication process development
• Preparation of engineering documentation and interface with customers/suppliers
