Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. seeks Senior or Principal Instrumentation and Controls Design Engineers to join the Nuclear Design Group.

The role encompasses multi-discipline project teams performing upgrades to nuclear power plants, covering digital systems (PLC, DCS, HMI), sensors, and procurement specifications. Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Computer, or Nuclear Engineering, 6+ years in I&C design (10+ for Principal), and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Computer, Nuclear Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years' experience in instrumentation and control systems design; 10+ years for Principal level.
• Experience with power plant instrumentation and controls design for nuclear units (BWR/PWR) and related systems.
• Experience preparing design drawings, data sheets, and software/cyber security documents.
• US Citizenship required; willingness to travel ~10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver instrumentation and control system designs for nuclear power plant upgrades.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to meet project requirements and regulatory standards.
• Provide mentorship to less experienced engineers and support field verification and on-site work.
