Job summary

RTX's Receiver/Exciter & Processing Architecture (REPA) seeks a Senior Principal Hardware Design Engineer to design mixed-signal hardware for radar subsystems. You will lead circuit/CCA architecture, perform timing, power, and SI analyses, and collaborate with systems, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.

The role is on-site in Massachusetts (Tewksbury or Marlborough) with US security clearance required (DoD Secret).

Qualifications

• Typically requires STEM degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Digital CCA design, parts selection, library management, and bill of materials.
• PCB design experience including stackup, routing, and DRC verification.
• Experience in design verification/analysis: timing, power, signal integrity, bench testing.
• 10+ years as an electrical engineer developing digital/mixed-signal high-speed CCAs.
• Ability to obtain/maintain interim secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design mixed-signal hardware to support Raytheon's products.
• Perform circuit and sub-system architecture, modeling, simulation, and verification.
• Work with ECAD to generate databases and drawings for PWB/CCAs.
• Integration and design verification at component, CCA, and subsystem levels.
• Mentor junior engineers and transition to production.
• Coordinate teams in multidisciplinary environments; communicate status in briefings.
