Job summary

RTX is hiring a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer - Missile Guidance, Navigation, & Control in Tucson, AZ. You will help design, implement, and integrate embedded software algorithms for missile systems and collaborate with an integrated product team to meet performance goals.

The role requires a STEM degree and at least 10 years in GNC, signal processing, or modeling/simulation, with proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C, and/or C++. U.S.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• GNC, signal processing, and/or modeling/simulation experience.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C, C++, and/or OO programming.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Development, integration, and testing of embedded missile flight code.
• System performance analyses, Monte Carlo assessments, and model development.
• Lead agile activities: backlogs, plans, and metrics, helping train engineers.
• Collaborate with teams to meet overall system performance requirements.
