Northrop Grumman Corp. in California at Edwards AFB is seeking a Sr Principal Flight Test Engineer focused on radar systems. You will develop detailed test plans, lead cross-discipline test activities, and serve as technical authority for radar test planning and data analysis.

The role requires a BS in STEM with 8 years of experience or MS with 6 years, an active Secret clearance, and the ability to obtain SAP clearance. Overtime and weekend support may be required, with travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and publish Detailed Test Plans (DTPs) and test procedures.
• Lead Radar test planning across disciplines; coordinate objectives and resources.
• Interface with design/analysis teams to define test configurations and data needs.
• Review requirements and traceability matrices for verification plans.
• Conduct Test Readiness Reviews and briefs to stakeholders.
• Provide real-time mission control support using IADS and maintain data integrity.
• Mentor junior engineers and develop SME in Radar test methodologies.
