Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a highly experienced Flight Test Engineer for Radar-focused test efforts across aircraft platforms at Edwards AFB, California.

The role serves as the technical authority for radar test planning, execution, and data analysis, coordinating between design engineering, maintenance, test operations, and the customer. The position requires leadership in TRRs, test cards, and real-time mission support.

Qualifications

• BS in a STEM discipline with extensive related experience; or MS with substantial related experience.
• Active U.S. government Secret clearance or ability to obtain; SAP clearance possible.
• Willingness to work overtime, odd hours, weekends to meet test schedules.

Responsibilities

• Develop and publish Detailed Test Plans and schedules for Radar systems.
• Lead Radar test planning groups across disciplines and align objectives.
• Provide real time mission control support and data integrity for tests.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure compliance with safety and security rules.
