Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a senior Flight Test Engineer focusing on Radar test efforts for multiple aircraft platforms. You will lead test planning, publish detailed plans, and coordinate across design, maintenance, and test operations to ensure data integrity and mission success.

This role requires a STEM degree with 8+ years of related experience or a Master’s with 6+ years, and active DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline or Master’s with related experience.
• Active DoD/US Government clearance preferred; SAP access is a plus.
• Experience presenting technical briefings to leadership and customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and publish Detailed Test Plans (DTPs) and test procedures for Radar systems.
• Lead Radar test planning, coordinating across disciplines to mitigate risk.
• Interface with design/analysis teams to define test configurations and data needs.
• Conduct TRRs/Pre/Post Test Briefings and report testing metrics.
