Stantec is seeking a Principal/Senior Principal Consultant to drive market growth in Orange County and surrounding areas. You will lead business development, client engagement, and project leadership, while mentoring staff and delivering high-quality environmental solutions.

Ideal candidate has strong relationships in Southern California, a track record of revenue growth, and experience guiding complex, multi-disciplinary teams to successful project outcomes and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

Geologic, engineering, or science degree required.
Minimum 15 years of engineering experience.
OSHA 40-Hr. HAZWOPER certification.
Proven ability to win work and grow client relationships.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and expand relationships with existing and prospective clients in Orange County and Southern California.
Identify, qualify, and capture new business opportunities aligned with growth objectives.
Lead proposal development, presentations, interviews, and contract negotiations to secure new work.
Achieve annual sales, revenue growth, and backlog targets through proactive business development.
Represent the firm at industry conferences and events to enhance market visibility and generate leads.
