Job summary

Air Products seeks Principal and Senior Principal Electrical Engineers to lead the electrical scope across diverse ASU projects in the Americas. You will mentor junior engineers, supervise design teams, and help shape electrical standards while coordinating with suppliers and partners.

Domestic travel around 20% is required. The role requires an Electrical Engineering degree, PE status or ongoing pursuit, plus extensive experience with large motors, HV/LV switchgear, transformers, and power

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering degree required (PE not mandatory but preferred)
• Experience leading electrical design for large-scale process facilities
• Deep knowledge of motors (1–10MW) and switchgear/transformers
• Ability to specify power electronics and perform power-system analysis

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical scope on proposals and projects in the Americas
• Supervise electrical design teams and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery
• Contribute to Air Products' electrical design standards and improve processes
• Coordinate with suppliers and outsourcing partners to add value to projects
