Job summary

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. is seeking principal and senior principal Electrical Engineers to lead the electrical scope on a portfolio of Americas projects. You’ll mentor junior engineers and coordinate with suppliers while ensuring schedule and quality targets are met.

The role includes leadership across design teams, development of standards, and collaboration with partners to deliver large, technically challenging facilities. Domestic travel ~20% is required.

Qualifications

• Electrical Power Engineering experience in a design function within process design.
• Experience with large motors (1–10MW); larger motors are a plus.
• Experience in specification and procurement of low/medium/high voltage switchgear and transformers.
• Proficient with electrical design software for power systems analysis (SKM ETAP).
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical scope of work on proposals and projects in the Americas.
• Assign tasks to electrical design teams and ensure on‑time, quality delivery.
• Contribute to development of Air Products' electrical design standards.
• Coordinate with suppliers and partners to add value to projects.
• Define execution models for electrical engineering scope and improve processes.
