Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. seeks Principal and Senior Principal Electrical Engineers to lead the electrical scope on a portfolio of Americas projects.

You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to deliver safe, reliable power systems. You should have an Electrical Engineering degree and PE status (or pursuing it), substantial power engineering experience, and hands‑on knowledge of large motors, switchgear, transformers and power electronics.

Competenze

• Electrical engineering degree required; PE status or pursuing PE status.
• Proven experience in electrical power engineering in process design.
• Experience with large motors 1–10MW; larger motors a plus.
• Experience with switchgear, transformers, and power electronics procurement.
• Ability to use power-system analysis software (SKM, ETAP).
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.

Mansioni

• Lead electrical scope of work on proposals and projects in the Americas.
• Assign tasks to electrical design teams; supervise to meet time and quality constraints.
• Provide input for development of Air Products' electrical design standards.
• Liaise with suppliers and outsourcing partners to add project value.
• Define execution models for electrical engineering scope; monitor and improve processes.
