Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Principal Electrical Engineer for the Air Vehicle Equipment Integration and Test team in Roy, Utah, supporting the Sentinel program. You will lead electrical harness design, test planning, and lab integration activities with a focus on military standards.

This role requires a STEM degree and 8+ years of experience, U.S. citizenship and DoD Secret clearance; relocation assistance may be available, 9/80 schedule and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Electrical Engineering for senior level role.
• CAD tools experience (NX/CATIA/Capital).
• 3+ years harness design per military/aviation standards.
• Experience with MIL-STD data signals and harness fabrication.
• Experience with PM/leadership on development teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop lab concepts to optimize test resources and schedules.
• Define HW acceptance test requirements and procedures.
• Create electrical drawing trees and interconnect diagrams.
• Translate system requirements into harness specifications.
• Assure routing and segmentation of harnesses.
• Perform voltage drop and capacitance analysis.
• Support Manufacturing, Procurement, Lab Integration and Test Design.
• Lead reviews and sign-off on harness diagrams.
• Mentor engineers in harness design and interconnects.
