Job summary
Northrop Grumman seeks Principal Electrical Engineer / Electrical Engineer for the AVE I&T Lab Design and Integration team in Roy, UT, supporting the Sentinel program. The role involves developing interconnects, harness designs, and test systems within a military/aerospace context.
Applicants should have a STEM degree with 2+ years (Electrical Engineer) or more, CAD experience, and familiarity with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 3 years; PhD with 1 year of experience.
- 3+ years of experience using CAD design tools (NX, CATIA, Capital, etc.).
- 3+ years of cable/harness design experience with harness fabrication, back-shell, connector and wiring selection and installation.
Responsibilities
- Develop interconnect diagrams for the test line, test event and HW configurations.
- Design and release multiple harness/cable designs to support lab testing.
- Perform voltage drop analysis.
- Provide support to Manufacturing, Procurement, Lab Integration and Test.
- Design and implement Test and Measurement systems in a lab space.
