Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks a Principal/ Sr. Principal Electrical Engineer in Roy, UT to lead ground design for Sentinel program components. Responsibilities include coordinating with teams, delivering PDPs/ADPs, and reviewing schematics and analyses.

The role requires US citizenship with a DoD Secret clearance and hands-on experience in electrical architecture, CAD/ECAD tools, and system integration. Relocation assistance and a 9/80 work schedule are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in STEM with required experience for the level.
• US citizenship with active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Experience with Teamcenter PLM or equivalent.
• Experience in electrical architecture and cable design.

Responsibilities

• Attend internal program, customer and/or supplier tech exchange meetings.
• Support milestone reviews and provide progress status updates.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with diverse assignments and collaboration.
• Coordinate electrical design with other integration teams.
• Coordinate electrical system engineering content and work products.
• Conduct electrical analysis and/or develop LRU electrical designs.
• Develop PDPs/ADPs and guide through review and release.
• Review schematics, wiring diagrams and data sheets.
• Perform research and trade studies on electrical/electro-mechanical systems.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and leadership principles.
