Job summary
Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Electrical Systems Test Engineer for the Sentinel program in Roy, UT. You will lead vehicle-level integration, test planning, and test readiness activities, coordinating with software and hardware teams across defense-focused programs.
The role requires DoD Secret clearance eligibility, strong experience in hardware/software integration, data analysis, and test execution across multiple facilities, with travel up to 25% and a 9/80 schedule.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with applicable experience.
- 8+ years of related experience for Sr. Principal level; 5+ years for Principal level with relevant advanced degree.
- Experience in system integration of hardware and software and test principles.
- Experience with data collection/instrumentation, test plans, procedures, and reports.
Responsibilities
- Synthesize system and test requirements into verification requirements and resources.
- Develop test requirements, plans, TRRs, data, and reports.
- Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment.
- Interface with software and systems engineers for flight hardware integration and test activities.
- Execute tests and manage issues; review results and provide status.
