Job summary

RTX's Effector Digital Products group in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Sr Principal Digital Design Engineer to design, analyze, simulate, test and integrate digital electronic modules for missile applications. You will work on high-speed digital circuits, FPGAs, memory, and interfaces such as PCIe/Ethernet/I2C/SPI/UART, collaborating with cross‑functional teams in an onsite role.

The role requires a strong background in digital design and the ability to take concepts from requirements to hardware

Qualifications

• Typically requires STEM degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• 10+ years of digital circuit design experience including hardware concepts and verification.
• Experience with PCB design, schematic capture, and pre-hardware analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, analysis, simulation, test and integration of digital modules for missile apps.
• Develop hardware with processors, FPGAs, memory and interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, UART).
• Collaborate across multi-disciplined teams to transition from development to production.
