RTX is seeking a Sr Principal Digital Design Engineer for onsite work in Tucson, AZ. The role focuses on digital electronics design and analysis for missile applications, including high‑speed digital circuits, FPGAs, memory, and industry interfaces.

You will lead design, analysis, simulation, and verification activities from concept to hardware realization, collaborating with cross‑functional teams across multiple programs.

Formación

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of engineering digital circuit design experience.
• Development and design of electronic circuit designs, multi-assembly system/unit design.
• Ability to take a design concept from requirements to a complete hardware design and verify via test and integration.
• Experience with PCB design process and schematic capture tools to analyze and simulate designs before hardware execution.

Responsabilidades

• Design, analyze, simulate, test, and integrate digital electronic modules for missile applications.
• Collaborate with engineers to design digital circuits that implement missile guidance, video processing, and DSP.
• Work with interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and UART.
