Job summary

RTX's Tucson-based team seeks a Principal Digital Design Engineer to design and analyze digital electronics for missile applications. You will handle hardware design, FPGA work, memory and industry interfaces, coordinating from concept through test and integration.

Role requires 8+ years of experience in digital circuit design, proficiency with PCIe/Ethernet/I2C/SPI/UART, and a readiness to work onsite in Tucson, AZ. A DoD Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• 8+ years of digital circuit design experience with at least 2 of: multi-assembly design, design verification, PCB design tools.
• Experience with PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI and UART interfaces is expected.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, simulate, test, and integrate digital electronic modules for missile applications.
• Develop hardware with processors, FPGAs, memory and industry interfaces.
• Lead circuit card design from concept to production verification.
• Collaborate with engineers across teams to deliver reliable hardware solutions.
