Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Digital Design Engineer in Tucson, AZ for 100% onsite work. The role focuses on digital electronics design for missile applications, with emphasis on high-speed circuits, FPGA implementations and system-level integration.

A DoD Secret clearance is required to start, with relocation offered where applicable. The successful candidate will design, analyze, simulate and test digital modules and CCAs, leveraging interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI and UART.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience taking a design concept from requirements to complete hardware design with verification by test and integration.
• Experience with PCB design processes and tools for schematic capture, analysis and simulation prior to hardware execution.

Responsibilities

• Design, analysis, simulation, test and integration of digital modules/CCAs for missile applications.
• Work with high-speed digital electronics, configurable logic and heterogeneous multiprocessor designs.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement interfaces like PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI and UART.
