Job summary

Confidential in New York is seeking a Senior Principal Digital Construction & BIM Consultant to build out a Digital Construction Advisory offering within its Capital Project Advisory practice. You will serve as a senior technical authority across BIM execution, Digital Twin, and digital delivery strategies for major capital projects.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of progressive BIM, Digital Engineering, or Digital Construction experience.
• PE, RA, or equivalent professional registration preferred.
• Deep expertise across BIM execution planning, ISO 19650, clash detection/coordination, 4D/5D, reality capture, and Digital Twin strategy.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical authority on BIM execution and digital construction strategy for complex capital projects.
• Lead independent BIM model audits, coordination reviews, and Digital Value Assurance assessments for owners, lenders, and insurers.
• Act as executive sponsor on strategic client accounts and grow the Digital Construction Advisory book of business.
• Provide expert witness services on digital delivery disputes (model quality investigations, coordination failure claims, deposition, arbitration).
• Advise clients on AI-enabled digital engineering workflows, including model review automation and predictive risk analytics.
• Mentor BIM professionals, support recruitment and succession planning, and lead proposals and industry conference representation.
