Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Melbourne, FL, is seeking a Senior Principal Cyber Systems Engineer to lead System Security Engineering across the system lifecycle. This on-site role requires DoD RMF experience, strong cybersecurity expertise, and the ability to work in an Agile environment.

Applicants must hold a STEM degree with multiple years of cybersecurity experience and be eligible for security clearance; relocation assistance and SkillBridge alignment are noted in the program materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 9+ years cybersecurity experience or Master’s with 7+ years, PhD with 4+ years.
• DoD System Security Engineering experience, RMF, and risk management.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD clearance; experience with agile development.
• Experience guiding junior engineers and coordinating with IPTs/subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead SSE activities across acquisition and development lifecycle.
• Develop security architectures, requirements, and assessment artifacts.
• Prepare technical documents and briefings; support authorization efforts.
• Interfere with program execution to ensure mission assurance.
• Collaborate with cyber functional areas and management at all levels.
