Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Melbourne, FL, seeks a Cyber Systems Engineer or Principal Cyber Systems Engineer to lead system security engineering across the lifecycle. The role requires Program Protection, SCRM, and Counterfeit Prevention expertise, with experience in cyber security engineering aligned to US government standards.

The position offers opportunities to interface with internal management and external stakeholders in an Agile environment, supporting ongoing authorization

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM field and at least 2 years of relevant military or professional experience, OR a Master’s in STEM with related experience.
• At the Principal Engineer level, 5+ years with BS in STEM, or 3+ with MS, or PhD with 1+ year relevant experience.
• Active US Government Secret or higher clearance required (or ability to obtain).
• Experience with RMF, NIST, CNSSI, and related security standards.

Responsibilities

• Support Program Protection, SCRM, and supply chain risk assessment activities.
• Develop and update Program Protection and SCRM plans and counterfeit prevention plans.
• Perform supply chain vulnerability assessments and recommend mitigations.
• Develop BOMs and conduct Criticality Analysis of components.
• Monitor changes and review vulnerability scans and reports.
• Interface with suppliers and perform security-related inquiries and audits.
• Prepare technical documents and briefings for security-related activities.
