Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking a Senior Principal Contract Administrator – Level 4 in Dulles, VA for 100% onsite work. The role focuses on contract management, negotiations, and risk mitigation across programs, with emphasis on DCS and government regulations.

The candidate should have strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills to advise program managers and manage complex agreements, including teaming arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of professional experience or Master’s with 6 years or PhD with 4 years; 4+ years in lieu of degree accepted.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance.
• Experience negotiating and administering various contract types.
• Understanding of government regulations such as FAR/DFAR.
• Experience with Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) and international customers/buyers.
• Experience with export licensing and controls (EAR and AECA).

Responsibilities

• Prioritize proposal activities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Identify contractual risks and mitigate with appropriate provisions.
• Serve as key business advisor to program managers on contractual matters.
• Plan and execute negotiations of a complex nature to achieve targeted profits and favorable terms.
• Cultivate customer relationships across geographies and with multiple organizations.
• Make timely decisions under tight deadlines and pressure.
• Provide guidance and collaborate with technical, program, finance, global supply chain, and security teams for seamless contract administration.
• Other duties as assigned.
