Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking a Senior Principal Contract Administrator – Level 4 in Dulles, VA. This on-site role leads complex contract negotiations, supports DCS activities, and collaborates with multiple departments to manage risk and ensure favorable terms.

A Top Secret clearance is required and the position operates on a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of FAR/DFAR, contract types, and export controls, with strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6 years of professional experience.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance.
• Experience negotiating and administering various contract types.
• Understanding the requirements of government regulations, such as FAR or DFAR.
• Experience in negotiation and managing DCS (Direct Commercial Sales) and international buyers.
• Working knowledge of export licensing and controls (EAR and AECA).

Responsibilities

• Prioritize proposal activities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Identify contractual risks and mitigate with appropriate provisions.
• Serve as key business advisor to program managers on contractual matters.
• Plan and execute successful negotiations of complex contracts and teaming agreements.
• Build customer intimacy across geographies and cultivate relationships early.
• Make timely decisions under deadlines and pressure.
• Coordinate with technical, program, finance, supply chain, mobility and security teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
