Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Senior Principal Contract Administrator based out of San Antonio, TX or Annapolis Junction, MD. The role supports production and development programs across multiple customers in the Cyber & Information Solutions unit.

The selected candidate will handle solicitations, contract administration, pricing, and compliance, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure program success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of experience in Contract Administration or related field (i.e. legal), or Master’s Degree and 6 years of work experience.
• Experience advising on a wide range of contractual and business-related matters including proposal strategy, estimating & pricing, audits, contract formation and customer relationships.
• Experience interacting with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
• Strong working knowledge of the FAR, DFAR, and other U.S. Federal Government Contracting Regulations.
• Experience with various contract types including, CPIF, FFP, and T&M.

Responsibilities

• Lead solicitation and RFP review/analysis, proposal preparation, and signoff.
• Negotiate, administer, extend and close standard and nonstandard contracts.
• Establish successful working relationships with customers via email, telephone and in-person when appropriate.
• Collaborate with the program team to monitor contract funding and payments.
• Advise management of contractual rights and obligations.
• Enter and maintain contract data into Contract Management System/ERP.
• Analyze and negotiate NDAs, teaming agreements, software licensing agreements.
