Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks a Senior Principal Contract Administrator to support CIS programs with experience in classified environments and multiple contract types. The role focuses on leading negotiations, managing contracts, and ensuring deliverables for prime and subcontract work. Location options include San Antonio, TX or Annapolis Junction, MD.

U.S. citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Poly are required. Relocation is not indicated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of experience in Contract Administration or related field, or Master’s Degree and 6 years of work experience.
• 12 years of applied experience in lieu of degree accepted.
• Experience advising on contractual and business matters including proposal strategy, estimating, pricing, audits, contract formation, and customer relationships.
• Experience interacting with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters.
• Strong working knowledge of the FAR, DFAR, and other U.S. Federal Government contracting regulations.
• Experience with various contract types: CPIF, FFP, and T&M.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain Full Scope Poly.

Responsibilities

• Lead solicitation and RFP review, proposal preparation, and signoff.
• Negotiate, administer, extend and close standard and nonstandard contracts.
• Establish relationships with customers via email, phone, and in person.
• Collaborate with program teams to monitor contract funding and payments.
• Advise management of contractual rights and obligations.
• Enter contract data into Management/ERP systems and ensure timely deliverables.
• Negotiate NDAs, teaming agreements, software licenses, and other documents.
