Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a senior Configuration Management lead in Sunnyvale, CA to own CM strategy and digital data workflows for a regulated aerospace program. You will drive MPLM/Teamcenter workflows, manage SDRLs and documents, and partner with engineering, quality, contracts, and PMs to ensure compliance and on-time delivery.

The role requires extensive CM experience, leadership abilities, and a US citizenship with the ability to obtain a secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Extensive configuration management and data control experience in regulated environments.
• Hands-on with MPLM/Teamcenter for managing product data and approvals.
• Experience leading CM efforts on complex programs with SDRLs and logs.

Responsibilities

• Lead CM vision and strategy aligned with program and enterprise standards.
• Architect and maintain MPLM approval workflows for data products and drawings.
• Own configuration control of deliverables and ensure on-time delivery.
• Manage drawing numbers, issuance, updates and change tracking.
• Digitalize document workflows and integrate with PLM/Teamcenter.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, contracts, and program management.
• Analyze metrics to improve cycle time, quality and compliance.
• Ensure audit readiness and robust version control of artifacts.
• Prepare for major design reviews and customer data calls.
• Develop and train CM staff on procedures and best practices.
