Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Sunnyvale, CA seeks a Configuration Management Engineer to lead review and approval of new parts, maintain CM databases, and ensure data accuracy across engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing.

You will guide in developing new or existing Rev-controlled documents, establish product structures (BOMs), part numbers and revision notices, and provide training. The role requires US citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance prior to starting
• 5 years of experience in developing and delivering technical presentations and leading small groups
• 5 years of experience and ability to work with cross-functional teams such as: Design Engineering; Manufacturing & Production Engineering; Quality Engineering; Supply Chain and Procurement

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review data for CM review boards and test plans.
• Analyze alternates for electronic components to resolve obsolescence and drive standardization.
• Lead component requests and drawing development to meet program needs.
• Chair Component Engineering Team to review components for production design use.
• Manage cross-functional part requirements and program deadlines.
• Provide training and guides for part processing and CM databases.
